A monumental sculpture, from Mexico that represents Christ located 22 kilometers from Poza Rica in Tihuatlán, called the city of sculptures, for having several of them. It is the third tallest sculpture in Mexico and is 1.5 meters taller than Christ the Redeemer in Brazil.
The author of the design, direction and execution of the monumental work was the master Teodoro Cano together with his team of collaborators and several sculptors.
The sculpture has an internal metallic structure that supports the weight of 35 tons, which was worked on for 18 months.
Finally in November 2007 the sculpture was blessed and inaugurated, which we recommend you visit the next time you visit us in Poza Rica.
